Derailments Date & Location Unknown

This is a derailment in either 1954 or 1955.

According to KCS in the Deramus Era (Marre & Sommers) there were only 2 derailments that could have caused the damage to the loco as shown in the last photo of this set which involved a GP7.Locomotive

If the loco was KCS 155 the date is Sept. or Oct. 1955 when it was sent back to EMD for rebuild.

GP7 KCS 162 was wrecked in Sept or Oct 1954

This Derailment was caused by the brake rod (pic 1) dragging and when the train went through the switch it caught on the switch and casued the derailment...date and place unknown
